Newly Completed PC Sheet Transparent Noise Barrier Project in Vietnam

This PC sheet transparent noise barrier project has recently been completed and put into use in Vietnam. The barrier is installed along a busy road section where traffic noise had become a long-term concern for the surrounding area.

Unlike traditional opaque noise barriers, this project required a solution that could reduce noise without blocking light or sightlines. After evaluating local conditions, a transparent PC sheet system was selected to balance noise control, safety, and visual openness.

The noise barrier uses solid polycarbonate panels combined with hot-dip galvanized steel posts. The PC sheets provide high impact resistance and stable performance under strong sunlight and humid climate conditions, which are common in Vietnam. At the same time, the transparent design helps maintain a clean and unobtrusive appearance along the roadway.

During production, particular attention was paid to panel thickness, edge treatment, and structural stability to ensure long-term outdoor use. All components were manufactured in our factory and supplied as a complete system, allowing for efficient installation on site.

Since completion, the barrier has been operating steadily and has noticeably improved the acoustic environment along the road, while keeping the area visually open and orderly. The project has met the client’s expectations in both performance and appearance.

This project reflects our practical experience in manufacturing and supplying PC sheet transparent noise barrier systems for overseas infrastructure projects, especially in regions with demanding climate conditions.
