CHAIN LINK FENCE: THE DIAMOND WEAVE THAT STILL DOES MOST OF THE WORK
Chain link is a woven wire fabric: wires running diagonally are twisted together at each intersection to form a diamond, and the fabric is stretched between posts and held under tension. It is the cheapest way to enclose a large area, and after more than a century it is still the default boundary fence almost everywhere.
Hebei Jinbiao manufactures chain link fabric in galvanised or PVC-coated wire, with the posts, rails, tension wire and fittings to go with it.
Because it does three things well at once: it is cheap per metre, it is almost transparent so it does not darken a boundary, and it is light enough that a long run needs very little structure.
WHAT THE FABRIC ACTUALLY IS
The fabric is defined by three numbers: wire diameter, mesh aperture and coating. Wire diameter sets strength and how easily the fabric deforms; aperture sets what the fence keeps in or out and how visible it is; coating sets how long it lasts.
A 50 x 50 mm aperture with a heavier wire is a different product from a 75 x 75 mm aperture with a light wire, even though both are sold as chain link.
The edge finish matters more than buyers expect. A twisted (barbed) edge leaves wire ends projecting at the top and bottom; a knuckled edge turns them back on themselves, which is what you want on a boundary a child can reach.
The fabric is also made in two weaves: the standard twisted diamond, and a heavier reverse-twist for larger apertures where the wires must not slip.

Nothing else encloses as much area for the same money. On a long boundary, the fabric is a small part of the total and the posts dominate — which is where a cheap quote usually hides its savings or its risk.
The diamond is open enough to see through, so a boundary does not become a wall. That is why it is used on sports grounds, depots and frontages where a solid fence would be oppressive.
A chain link fence is held by tension, so the tension wire, the brace posts and the line posts matter more than the fabric gauge. A well-tensioned light fabric outperforms a slack heavy one.
Galvanised for a plain finish, PVC coated where colour or a longer life in a corrosive atmosphere is needed. Both are applied over galvanised wire.

CHAIN LINK FENCE SOLUTIONS
Chain link is specified across a very wide range of boundaries, and the differences are in height, coating and post section.
Industrial and depot perimeters — tall runs, galvanised, heavy line posts.
Sports grounds and courts — greater height with a tighter aperture and often a PVC colour.
Residential boundaries — lower height, coated finish, knuckled edges.
Utility compounds — combined with a topping where climbing is the concern.
Temporary and portable systems — chain link panels on feet for construction sites.
Where the requirement is anti-climb rather than general enclosure, a 358 mesh panel is the correct product and is quoted instead of a heavier chain link.
FABRIC, POST AND FITTINGS
The system is fabric, line posts, a top rail or tension wire, brace posts at the ends and corners, and the fittings that hold it all: tension bands, brace bands, rail ends and tie wires.
Posts are galvanised steel tube, sized by height and wind load, set in concrete or driven depending on the ground. Brace posts are what stop the run pulling itself out of line when the fabric is tensioned.
Fabric height and aperture follow the boundary requirement, and the coating follows the atmosphere. On a coastal or industrial site the coating class is the specification, not the colour.

Mongolia Chicken Farm BRC Fence
In 2024 Hebei Jinbiao manufactured and supplied BRC double wire fencing for a 50,000-bird commercial poultry farm in Mongolia, where the perimeter has to keep foxes and wolves out and define the biosecurity boundary. The blue PVC coated panels are stiffened by V bends and carried on square posts, with the gate set as the single controlled entry.
Nauru Aiwo Port Terminal Upgrade Project Chain Link Fence and Double Swing Gate
The Aiwo Port Terminal Upgrade Project in Nauru required a durable perimeter fence and a controlled vehicle entrance for a coastal terminal. Hebei Jinbiao supplied a galvanized chain link fence together with a double swing gate, both finished to resist saltwater corrosion, so the terminal perimeter now runs continuously into the main gate.
Chain link fencing supplied for a Singapore rail corridor: 2.5 m hot-dip galvanised mesh, 50 x 50 mm, barbed wire on cranked posts for a tropical marine site.
Ghana Sports Court Welded Wire Mesh Fence Project
This Ghana sports court project features a black welded wire mesh perimeter fence around the playing area. The visible installation uses modular mesh panels and posts set on concrete bases, with higher fence sections positioned to help contain balls near the court.
In 2023 Hebei Jinbiao manufactured and supplied chain link perimeter fencing for a utility-scale photovoltaic plant in Peru: 2.4 m panels in PVC-coated galvanised wire, set on hot-dip galvanised posts for coastal desert service.
