A data center in Indonesia required a reliable perimeter fencing solution to help protect its critical infrastructure and restrict unauthorized access. For this project, we manufactured and supplied approximately 1,100 m² of 358 anti-climb fencing.
The fence panels are 1.2 metres high and feature an additional anti-climb security device along the top. Completed in 2026, the project provides the data center with a clearly defined and highly visible security perimeter.

Project Overview
Project: Data Center Perimeter Fencing
Location: Indonesia
Fence Type: 358 Anti-Climb Mesh Fence
Fence Height: 1.2 m
Project Area: Approximately 1,100 m²
Additional Security: Anti-Climb Security Topping
Our Scope: Manufacturing and Supply
Completion Year: 2026
Data Center Perimeter Security Requirements
Data centers contain essential digital, electrical and communication infrastructure. Their perimeter fencing must provide more than a simple boundary. It should help discourage climbing, restrict unauthorized entry and allow security teams to monitor activity around the facility.

The fencing solution for this Indonesian data center needed to provide:
Strong resistance to climbing and unauthorized access
A secure boundary around critical infrastructure
Clear visibility for patrols and surveillance systems
Additional protection along the top of the fence
A consistent appearance across the project perimeter
Modular components suitable for efficient installation
Why 358 Anti-Climb Fencing Was Selected
The 358 anti-climb fence is designed for locations where perimeter security and visibility are both important. Its closely spaced welded mesh provides very limited space for fingers and feet, making the fence difficult to climb.
Compared with conventional open-mesh fencing, the compact mesh design also makes access with ordinary hand tools more difficult. These characteristics make 358 fencing suitable for data centers, power facilities, industrial sites and other sensitive locations.
Anti-Climb Mesh Design
The closely spaced mesh makes it difficult for an intruder to gain a secure handhold or foothold. This helps improve climbing resistance without requiring a completely solid perimeter barrier.
Clear Visibility
The mesh construction allows security personnel and surveillance systems to observe activity on both sides of the fence. This supports routine inspection and perimeter monitoring.
Additional Top Protection
An anti-climb security device was fitted along the upper edge of the fence. This provides an additional physical deterrent and makes crossing the perimeter from above more difficult.
Modular Fence Construction
The welded mesh panels, posts and connection components form a modular fencing system. This helps maintain consistent alignment and allows the installation team to adapt the fence line to the concrete foundations and site layout.
Manufacturing and Supply
Our scope for this project covered the manufacturing and supply of the complete 358 fence system.
Production was coordinated according to the confirmed project dimensions, fence layout and site requirements. Consistent panel construction, compatible posts and suitable connection components helped support an orderly installation process at the data center site.
Approximately 1,100 m² of fencing was supplied for the project. The system was prepared to create a continuous security boundary while avoiding unnecessary complexity during installation.
Completed Data Center Fence
After installation, the 1.2 m-high 358 mesh panels formed a clearly defined perimeter around the relevant areas of the data center.
The black finish gives the fence a clean and professional appearance that suits the surrounding industrial environment. The security topping is positioned continuously along the upper edge, adding another layer of physical deterrence.
The completed perimeter combines:
Anti-climb mesh construction
Clear visibility through the fence
Additional protection at the top
Consistent alignment along the boundary
A professional appearance for critical infrastructure
This project demonstrates how 358 security fencing can be used for data center perimeter protection in Indonesia, where access control, visibility and physical security must work together.
Where Can 358 Security Fencing Be Used?
In addition to data centers, 358 anti-climb fencing can be used for:
Electrical substations
Power stations
Telecommunications facilities
Airports and transport infrastructure
Industrial plants
Warehouses and logistics centres
Government facilities
Utility sites
High-security commercial properties
Fence height, panel dimensions, posts, surface finish and security topping can be customized according to project drawings, site conditions and security requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a 358 anti-climb fence?
A 358 anti-climb fence is a welded mesh security fence with closely spaced horizontal and vertical wires. The compact openings provide very limited space for gripping or climbing while maintaining visibility through the fence.
Why is 358 fencing suitable for data centers?
Data centers require controlled access and a clearly protected perimeter. The dense mesh structure of a 358 fence helps resist climbing and unauthorized entry while allowing security teams and surveillance systems to monitor the site.
Can an anti-climb device be added to a 358 fence?
Yes. A compatible anti-climb security topping can be installed along the upper edge of the fence when additional perimeter protection is required. The final configuration should follow the project specifications and applicable local regulations.
Can the fence height and finish be customized?
Yes. Fence height, panel dimensions, posts, connection components, surface finish and security topping can be customized according to the project drawings and site requirements.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Please provide the required fence height, total perimeter length or area, site drawings, foundation details, gate requirements, preferred finish, security topping and delivery destination.
